Avoiding Beauty Therapists

People looking for an answer to help clear their condition should really avoid the general beauty therapy clinics you see all around the place. For one, they are not trained in rosacea treatment. Before I was diagnosed I stopped by a beauty clinic in the shopping centre thinking well, they deal with skin issues, so they must be able to help me, so I eagerly went inside for my free consultation.
The lovely young girl sat me down and examined my face while consulting her skin care manual and put together for me a skin care package that would solve my redness of the skin once and for all. I left feeling quite confident; after all I had just spent a fortune on all these products designed for red, sensitive skin. What could go wrong?
Well after using these products, I noticed my skin wasn’t clearing up. In fact, it had gotten worse!!! Still thinking my skin would eventually clear up, I continued to use them. About a week later I just had to stop. My skin was so inflamed, I it hurt like crazy. Yes, I should have stopped using these expensive creams the moment I felt my skin worsening, but I still had faith in what this very young beautician had to tell me. I ended up giving $250 worth of skin care products to a friend of mine.
Most beauty therapists are biased in their products. This particular brand named salon only sold that brand, so therefore I ended up purchasing that particular brand. If I had gone to another salon, I would be buying “their” particular brand. Most of the well known brands and labels of these clinics are extremely irritating due to the heavy fragrances, preservatives, and other ingredients not suited to people with inflamed skin disorders.
Facials should also be avoided by a beauty clinic for the rosacea sufferer. The deep relaxing massages and manipulation associated with facials are too overstimulating for rosaceans.
All these products and practices used by beauty therapists should be avoided at all costs. If you believe you may have an inflamed skin disorder, please don’t try and remedy your condition with a beauty salon. You may end up looking and feeling worse than when you started. Go see your doctor.

I recently found a beauty clinic which sold specific Roseca Treatment called Aquavit which they do with a facial aswell. The only problem is it's extremely expensive as most beauty clinics are and as a student, i cannot afford that at all! But since i also found that it really didn't work at all so i'm trying more natural products. Just put the aloe on this morning so fingers crossed!!
