Dietary Journal: Day 6

I noticed that my face became redder after washing with the cetaphil soap. I wake up with only a very slight almost there pink face. It’s not enough to concern myself with yet. Just an observation. Maybe I need to find an alternative cleanser or maybe it’s just the slight pressure of my fingers. I do know that rosacea skin is very finicky when it comes to using products on our faces. In general, the less ingredients found in a certain product, the less chance of it irritating the skin. This is generally true for ALL sensitive skin types, however, some people react quite badly to just a product with one ingredient. Take aloe vera for instant. The pure gel found inside the plant, can cause extreme allergic reactions to one person, whilst soothe and heal another. I haven't yet tried Aloe Vera yet, but I have heard that it makes a great cleanser. I do have a healthy plant growing in my backyard so I will get around to trying it very soon.


Anyway, day 6 of my diet journal:

Coffee with milk no sugar
Bowl of the “new” Uncle Tobys Fibre Antioxidant Lift breakfast cereal
4 ryvita ryebread with real butter and vegemite
Homemade pumpkin soup with 2 slices of wholgrain bread and real butter.
Dominoes pizza (chicken monaco - yum)
Green tea with citrus and milk

Make Up: no
Glasses of Water: 1

End of day Report
Tingles and Itching: no,
Redness: woke up pink, more redder towards lunchtime
Bumps and spots: my “spot” smoothed out and wasn’t burning or itching anymore
Stress: very low
Exercise: none
Eyes: Red

I don't feel any grittiness in my eyes anymore, but I have noticed they are very, very red. I need to put eye drops in them to make them look normal again.
